Local resident and campaigner Jamie Abrahams is keen to assist with the creation of a proper strategy for Ewell Village after the fiasco of the Residents Association's bus gate plan last year.
He is running a consultation with Ewell residents and businesses about encouraging more shops into the village. “This is a really difficult time for high streets,” he says, “but we need a proper plan now for Ewell so that we can be ahead of the game in attracting new businesses after the pandemic.”
He has also volunteered to help with a local residents' independent campaign group Ewell Village For Change (EVFC), which is planning a consultation with SCC and Ewell residents this year, to improve the traffic situation.
