She attended St Christopher's, St Martin's and Rosebery Schools, Epsom, before going to the University of Oxford, Surrey and London, achieving a Masters in Journalism and a BA (Hons) in History. She lives in College ward and is married to Daniel. She is a parishioner of St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Epsom.
