Thank you to all our members and their guests who came and supported Epsom & Ewell and Mole Valley at the Burford Bridge for our annual autumn dinner. It was especially lovely to have the opportunity to meet old friends and new in person after a challenging 18 months.

The local elections marked a sad moment for the Association with Tina Mountain’s time as County Councillor coming to an end. Tina decided not to stand again and instead to enjoy a well-earned retirement.

This summer brings a cautious (and hopefully irreversible) optimism that is usually signified by the herald of spring. There is no doubt that the last year and a half has tested and challenged every one of us in every role in our lives.

Local Conservative campaigner Emma Ware has asked the Residents Association-controlled Borough Council to sort out the problems allocating allotments.

We need more homes for the younger generation, but not this way…..

Led by County Councillor Bernie Muir, your local Conservative team are continuing the fight to get the Residents Association Councillors in Epsom to reverse their plan to close The Wells Centre and redevelop it as flats.
