Local Conservative campaigner in West Ewell and School Governor Kieran Persand has praised the dedication of teachers in the Borough during the tough times of the Pandemic. “I am sure I am not alone among local school governors in thinking that our heads and teachers have done a fantastic job in very difficult circumstances. But all of us involved in local schools now need to be focused on the mental health issues that are bound to arise from the current lockdown and school closures and want to encourage our local councils, NHS and schools to work together to make sure that we overcome these issues and help this generation of young people to move on from the pandemic.”
